YETA Final Conference
Representatives from all organisations consisting the YETA consortium travelled to Cuenca, Spain to attend the project’s final conference. The event occurred at Cuenca’s Public Library facilities on Tuesday, November 3rd, 2024.
The final conference was hosted by Atperson, a partner organisation of YETA from Cuenca, and it provided a first-class opportunity for various stakeholders of the project to learn about the produced work and implemented activities throughout the funding period of the YETA project.
Initially, the conference’s first section included the presentation of various local actors in the fields of tourism and entrepreneurship in Cuenca. These included representatives from public authorities, incubators, as well as local ventures and other initiatives.
The second part of the YETA Final Conference provided an overview of the distinct activities and final deliverables, as these were carried out during the 19 months of the project’s implementation. All partners contributed to the presentation by providing insightful information on different concepts and aspects of the project. OMNIA team’s contribution involved the presentation of various learning and training activities that engaged young participants in each partner country. These activities included the YETA Online Platform and official website, the two rounds of local workshops in each country and the two YETA Virtual Mobilities.
Finally, the YETA conference’s last unit included presentations of business ideas from Spanish young participants, who had the opportunity to benefit from YETA’s learning and training activities, including the YETA transnational Learning & Training activity in Serbia.
Overall, the YETA Final Conference has been a milestone in the partnership’s efforts to further strengthen the promotion of the project’s impact and the engagement of relevant actors in sustainable rural tourism and social entrepreneurship.
